Floating bars

hi,

I have the following data

area     open from        duration
1a          06:15               3:00
1a          09:30               3:00
1a          14:30               3:00

what I would like to show preferably in a floating bars chart is to get an
output like below

1a     XXXXXXXXX  XXXXXXXXXX                      XXXXXXXX
      6    7     8     9      10     11    12     13     14   15

I know you need two criteria sets to set this up but it seems to be placing
the output on 3 seperate lines.

any helps on this would be mucho appreciated....

You have to reorganize your data (at least for charting purposes) to:

1a 6:15 3:00 0:15 3:00 2:00 3:00
and plot the above in a stacked bar chart.  Then, format alternate bars to
be invisible (from the Format dialog box, from the Patterns tab, set the
area and the border to none).
