I am making a chart using data from a worksheet that
includes only weekday dates, however, when I make the
chart using that source material, Excel automatically
adds in weekend dates. I do not want the weekends to be
included. How do I get them out of the chart?

Sam -

You have a time scale category axis.  To convert it to a category
category axis: right click the chart, select Chart Options from the pop
up menu, click on the Axes tab, and under Category (X) Axis, select
Category.
