Resizing the legend

I inherited a number of Excel workbooks with charts. I cannot resize the
legend because placement has been fixed. Is it possible to change that so I
can move and resize the legend freely?

Thanks for the reply. I found the answer in Excel help: they're pivot charts
and the legend, etc can't be resized. Well, okay then. I'll convert them to
standard charts if the legend needs resizing.

What's the reason for the limitation?
