I'm in Excel 2000

Is it possible to remove the links from a chart?

I have a workbook with several charts on the first sheet.  Those charts are
based on data located in other sheets of that workbook.  I want to copy the
sheet with the charts to a new workbook, but I do not want the copied charts
to update.  Basically, I only want a snapshot of what we're looking at today
in my new workbook.

I've tried selecting the chart and choosing Copy, Paste Special, Formats,
but that does not remove the links.
