Inactive chart icon

This is a reposting because in the first posting I did not clearly rais
the question.

In a shared folder I have numerous .xls files.  In some the chart ico
is grayed out.  In others it works normally.  None of the help screen
has told me how to activate the grayed out icons when needed

Thank you Jon and Debra.  Knowing that it was there somewhere to b
found I finally was able to find the correct helpscreen and follow th
directions
