NEED HELP CREATING A CHART

I need help. I want my chart to stack data in bars, for example, the total of
the bar is 10 and it is split into two categories equalling 8 and 2. I need
to show the information in groups of 3 bars and multiple groups on the chart.
I know this is not a very good explanation but I can see in my head how I
want it to look and I am trying to describe that. I am sure I have this type
of a chart before. I would love any advice I can get on creating charts.
