Hi Folks
This add in is great, until I add a filter to the underlying XY & label data.

I need to apply a filter as I have several hundred XY co-ordinates & labels,
and regularly need to filter down to different subsets of the data.

When a filter is applied, the labels linked to the associated XY become
incorrect.

Does anyone know a solution to this?

Thanks

Steve

Hi,

This is not a problem with the addin but more how charts deal with
filtered data and the linked labels.
The points used always goes 1 to n, where n is the number of data
points. So when filtering the points go 1 to n-filtered.
All of the charts automatic items, category labels and data values, are
updated but the links between data labels and cells remains static.

I have posted a page that uses formula to get around the static nature
of the linking.

Thanks Andy
I would never  have come up with that solution  in a million years!

Cheers
