Format charts in Excel using a template

Formatting charts in Excel. Office 2003 (11.xx) SP2 Not clear if there is a
way to impose a template on an existing Excel file, or if templates are used
to start ne files only.

Select the chart, go to Chart menu > Chart Type, click on the Custom Types
tab, select User-Defined, then click on the type you want to use for the
existing chart.
