Hi,
You would normally create the banding effect using a combination chart.
Unfortunately you can not create combinations including a bubble chart.
You could create the bands using autoshapes and the using MS Paint create a
image that is used as the fill pattern for the plot area. You would need to
make the shapes the same size as the plotarea they will cover. Of course the
image will be static.
You could also try using 2 charts. The top bubble chart would have no chart
area fill making it transparent. Underneath that chart would be another
containing a column chart to provide the banding. Aligning the 2 charts
might be tricky though.
