I am using Excel 2007. I cannot write a word with sub- or super- script in
the chart legend. Is there any way to do it?
Hi,
You can not have individual characters formatted in a legend.
You would need to use a special font where the required characters are
formatted with sub or superscript.

Hi,
You can get round this problem by making a "dummy" legend inside the plot
area using an additional x-y series and adding data labels. You can then
format individual characters within the data label.
