xyz coordinates graph

Apparently there is no way of directly making a xyz coordinates graph in Excel. (other post)
Does anyone now of free software that can?
Or a good work around in excel
Example data: (this should appear as a pointed mountain on a surface graph).
Xcoord    Ycoord    Zcoord
255    500    186
254    501    200
255    501    489
256    501    180
253    502    100
254    502    400
255    502    1024
