Suggestions on creating a Histogram ?

I've been requested to create a hisogram. I have no idea
what chart to type use and where to place the data.

any suggestions ?

Go to tools>data analysis, One of the options is a histogram. If you
don't see that make sure in addins your analysis add in is checked.
