Are you reacting to this error message?

"You cannot combine 2-D and 3-D chart types. Do you want to change the
data series from the 2-D chart so that you can combine the two charts
into a 3-D chart?"

To get the cylinders as in the cylinder chart, the chart has to be a
cylinder type. A cylinder type is a 3D chart, and cannot be combined
with another type.
