When I open Excell the 'new' (blank) worksheet appears
normal.

If I then open a saved file the screen appears gray (the
row & column are also missing), but somehow seems to be
there - if I go to a specific cell (using the Name Box or
GoTo [^G]) the proper cell information is displayed in the
display/edit line on the menu bar.

If I click anywhere in the screen the Name Box
displays "65536R x 256C" (as though I selected all the
cells?)

Why is this happening and how do I fix it??
