I am having to go into Excel 2000 and rename the .XLB file about 3 times a month.
Does anybody know what could be causing this.

Everytime, there is an error that comes up saying excel is running low on resources. When you try to close it out, excel freezes and I end up rebooting the whole machine. Renaming the .xlb seems to only fix this for a short time and it happens again.

I've had this happen once and finally found a solution -
posted by Nick (6 Jan 2004).

Now I find that it may come back again and again and ...

My Office 2000 has been stable for more than 3 years.  I
wonder what has upset the applecart - apparently sometime
during the past couple of months.
