Using Excel 2000 w/ Windows 2K Professional.

I'm selecting multiple cells in order to make them un-
locked. I select 20 or 30 cells, then go format,
protectino, then un-click the "locked" box.

When I hit OK, I get an error message that says "Too many
different cell formats."

What on earth does this mean, and how can I fix it?

Like when I try to change the font color in a group of
cells, or something like that.
