I'm getting very slow response times (minutes)when I copy
large columns (50,000 cells) containing simple formulas.
I just upgraded from Excel 97 where I didn't have that
problem. I've got 1 gig of memory & a 100 gig hard drive
& I maxed out the paging size on Windows XP. Can anyone
tell me how to work around this??  Thanks

Turn automatic calculations off before copying such a
large quantity.  From the menu select Tools/Options click
the Calculation tab, click the Manual option.  Once done,
turn it back on, or use the F9 key to calculate.
