can't do anything after opening an excel file. can't
right click or select a cell. it only ghosts; can't use
commands. f8 doesn't work, ctrl or shift keys don't work
it does not respond to anything. the only thing that can
be done is ctrl-alt-del; and shows 2 excel apps. book1
and excel; when i end task, i get cannopt quit excel
message. and then eventually quit and give me message
want to send error report to microsoft.

reboot does not help; updated to current from microst
site, no help.

does anyone know what to do in this situation? I have the same problem and only rebooting helps.  It is now happening 2-3 times a day.
