Custom Buttons move location after print op

Since I downloaded the Office service pack 3, I have been
having the following problem with custom buttons in my
spreadsheet:

If I use the Excel print button, or my custom print area
button, three of the five buttons located on the sheet
are moved to the left (equally) after the print op
completes. I run these sheets on two computers, one with
Office 2002 and XP Pro, and the other (lap top) with
Office 2000 and Windows 98. There is no problem on the
lap top.

There is extensive VB code behind the buttons but as I
have changed nothing in the code and the problem is true
no matter which print button I use, I believe the problem
is in something Microsoft has done in the service pack.

Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chad

If you do not require the buttons to be printed, by the
way, you should use a toolbar for these buttons, You can
hide all placeholders (objects:buttons) in tools > options
> view. This option also good for sorting columns whwere a
button may be placed in the middle of the sort. By hiding
the object, any chages around it does not affect the
object unless you have checked Move and resize with cell
in it proerties box.

I hope this is of some help.

mark

not convenient to use toolbar as multiple sheets may be
open using the same general layout with subtle
differences to same button names
