MS Office Forum / Excel / Excel Errors / August 2004Cursor selects cells on mouseover; cannot End Excel
About every month or so, Excel 2000 (running on WinXP) demonstrates a curious problem: Upon opening a spreadhseet, all cells that are moused over become selected/highlighted. I cannot then end the program. I have to go to task mgr and kill it. The only cure seems to be reinstalling Office which is a hassle. I have all my updates that MS has available. Any thoughts? Were experinceing the same with two machines, same as your spec.
