We are bumping into Excel limits on a large spreadsheet
The file is about 25mb at the moment and growing quickly.

Here are some questions:
1. What are the finite limits of Excel 2000 with respect
to spreadsheets?
This implies anything - row, column, sheet, or cell
quantity and memory max size, macro limit, graphic
limits, memory limits, etc.

2. How can we predict these finite limits when they occur?

3. What can be done to resolve these finite limits when
they occur?

4. Is there a tool we could use to analyze an Excel
spreadsheet to "see" what is going on inside the program?

About the best answers you'll get to Excel memory allocation are at

http://www.decisionmodels.com/memlimits.htm

I run a spreadsheet every week from an Access database into a pivot table
and it is around 60mb so size depends very much on what you're doing.  Works
flawlessly although I do cross my fingers when I save each week.
