MS Office Forum / Excel / Excel Errors / September 2004Spreadsheet doesn't open when I double click
I think I have changed something in the Excel 2002 setup. When I double click on an existing spreadsheet Excel opens but the spreadsheet doesn't. I have to open Excel first and then do a file open on the existing spreadsheet. Does anyone know how I can correct this. I have the exact same problem. I had this problem with Excel 2000 pro, so I upgraded it to 2003 pro thinking that the problem would go away. But, it didn't. Awaiting some solution...
