Excel file opening

When I try to open an Excel file by double clicking on the file name, it
gives me a following message : "Canot find abc.xls (or one of it's
components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all
required libraries are available."

Click on Tools|Options, General tab, untick <Ignore other applications>
