When I save a file from an Office program the dialog box that comes up shows
all the single files in reverse alphabetical order, then the folders in
reverse alphabetical order.  Other applications show the dialog box with the
normal aphabetical sort order of folders, then files.  Any ideas how to
correct office?  System Restore didn't work. XP Pro SP2

In the Save dialog box, click the "Name" heading in details view
to reverse the order of the sort.

Chip,

Thank you very much for the solution; it worked perfectly.
