When I go to File > Open and then try to change the Look In to open a file
from any folder, Excel goes to Not Responding. Sixty to 120 seconds later,
it works. This happens every time. This happened once before and I was told
to uninstall Trend Micro and that fixed it. Now I do not have Trend Micro
and it is happening. I have no virus software at the moment because I
thought that might be it. I have tried everything except uninstalling excel
and reinstalling.

Right-click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop,
left-click on Disconnect Network Drive, and disconnect any mapped
network drives that are not currently available.
