When trying to modify a pre-saved file in Excel, several of our computer in
the last few days have came back with an error box that says "This program is
being debugged and cannot be closed down."  The computers at this point need
to be rebooted.  We have tried uninstalling the Office 2000 and reinstalling
2003, and still get the same message.  The problem seems to be limiting
itself to Windows 2000.  Anyone have an idea what this could be?

Hi

Try downloading the latest recommended updates for Win 2K.  That sorted this
problem on my work PC

I'm also having the same problem.  I loaded the lastest updates and are
still having this problem.

We removed the latest version of Windows Installer v3.1 and this has fixed
the issue on about 10 PCs.  I don't see how it is related but for it to work
every time we get a call it is very odd.
