I experience a system error with EXCEL, as a result, EXCEL cannot be closed,
system hangs. The following are the error messages:

1. System resources dangerously low.
2. When reboot, blue screen error msg: "exception OD had ocurred at 039F
00001AA2"

I re-installed my Office 2000, but errors still persists with EXCEL. FYI, I
used Win98 SE.

Any helps would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Use Windows Explorer to search for all files on your hard drive with a
.XLB extension. Delete any that you find. Note that these may be hidden
files, so you'll need to set Explorer to show hidden files before searching.

Excel uses these files to store information about toolbar
customizations, but they frequently become corrupt and cause problems like
this. Excel will create new versions of the .XLB files it needs as soon as
it starts up. Note that you will lose any toolbar customizations that you
might have made.

Thanks.

Deleting the *.XLB seems to work.
