autofill problem

Hi anyone

I have a problem with autofill on excel 2002 and excel 97
i am running them both on different computers and i have the same problem.

When i try to autofill a column using a formula (eg =F4*25) the formula
fills properly but the value in each box comes up the same as the first value
until i double click and press enter in the individual boxes.

I have no idea what to try.

Tools / Options / Calculation / Change manual to automatic.
