The #Value error appears if the data you are referencing is not seen as a
calculable number. This normally means it is text, or seen as text. Check
the data is not formatted at text and also try re-entering some data after
you check formatting as this should enter it as a number and test the
theory.
If this is the case then you can 'bump' the text numbers to actual numbers
by copying an empty cell and then highlighting the data and selecting
Edit>Paste special...>values and add (This does nothing but makes Excel
realise they are numbers. Make sure there are no formulas during this
operation or they will be lost
