I can intermittently perform a sort function with the new Office beta.
Sometimes it lets me other times it does not. I find that if I Click outside
the data in a blank cell then it lets me perform a sort.
I found the same sort problem as well.
I had a worksheet with 1400 rows. I found the following:
- If I just select the column to sort, the sort dialog doesn't come up
- If I select the first cell and shift select the last cell with data in the
column (essentially selecting all used cells in column) then the sort dialog
doesn't come up
- If I select all but the last cell (1399 rows) then the sort dialog comes up.
- If I select any subset of the cells in the column, then the sort dialog
comes up.
