When I try to save to a mapped network drive in Excel 2007 Beta 2, Excel
crashes.  I don't have any trouble saving as long as I save to the local hard
drive.  What can I do to fix this?

Not come across the network issue with this, but you could try the
following, that caused most of the crashes I've had. Delete (or move),
personal.xls, book.xlt, sheet.xlt, *.xlb

You may not have all of them and some may be hidden files so search for them
also (all the above xls or xlt files should be in you xlStart folder)
