MS Office Forum / Excel / Excel Errors / March 2007Excel Shuts Down every time I use cell A5
For years I have been coping with a bug in Excel that is driving me nuts. Virtually every time I use Excel it will shut itself down when I try to enter text into cell A5. I cannot see a reason for it and have not been able to fix this error. I constantly agree to send the error report, but I'm not sure that's helping me out as much as it is building up a stat somewhere for Microsoft. Please advise! Any help would be greatly appreciated. This happens to both my computers I run this program on. If I delete the row I can use that cell for a little while until it crashes again. > That would tell you if a macro or initialization setting is hurting you.
