Recovery of ~df*.tmp files.

Oops and al of a sudden excel97 was gone.
The only thing I could find was the above mentioned
~dfefb.tmp with the right time and size. So I think it is
my file. Does anyone know how to recover this file?
Just changed tmp to xls didn't work. Notepad showed
nothing comprehensible.

It is not going to help you with this workbook, but to
avoid this situation in future, consider downloading my
Autosafe from www.bmsltd.co.uk/mvp
