When trying to open an export file from Crystal Reports,
excel indicates an error has occured.

"Errors were detected in (file name).xls, but Microsoft
Excel was able to open the file by making the repairs
listed below.  Save the file to make these repairs
permanent".

Renamed invalid sheet name.

Then there is a log file with the same info.  The sheet
tab says Repaird_sheet1.

Any clues why this happens and a way to shut off?

Environment is WinXP Pro w/ Excel 2002

I hope that someone could offer some insight on this or maybe you have
found a solution because we are running into the same thing.  I have
only seen it happen on WinXP pro and w/ Excel 2002.

Worse yet, when a spreadsheet created via Crystal Reports and Parallel
Crystal is downloaded via the web and is opened directly into an excel
2002 application the spreadsheet does not appear and it is replaced by
a "Bad Request" message.

Anyone with even a workaround?
