My Excel spreadsheet shows a blank cell, but there is data on it. I can see
it on the status bar, and if I double-click the cell it shows the data as
well, but as soon as I navigate away from the cell, it becomes blank again.
It is not a formatting issue (i.e. white font on white background), if I
make the font red, it shows it to me when I am in the cell, but then it goes
blank again, what can I do to fix it?

What is the data?
Is it possibly a custom number format which makes it go white (or disappear
altogether, eg to not show zeroes at all)?
Or maybe a conditional format?
