MS Office Forum / Excel / Excel Errors / October 2007Excel Calculation
I click Tools, Options, Calculation and then click the Manual radio button and turn off the Recalc Before Save. Then I Save the workbook and exit. When I open the workbook again, the Calculation has gone back to Automatic. I have only noticed this on my home computer. At work the setting stays on Manual until I physically click the Automatic button again. I use Office Professional 2003 but noticed it on my Office Professional 2000 too. What is wrong? Arima Excel takes it's calculation setting from the first workbook you open in a session and applies that to all subsequent books open. Is it possible you are opening a workbook at home before you open the workbook in question.
