Hello, i have windows vista and i have a problem with excel and power point, i can´t open the programs with the icons only if i want to open an existing file i can acces the programs, but when i use the icons i can´t do it, what can i do to active the icons? Can you open the exe files directly, e.g.: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\excel.exe If so, try rightclicking the file and selecting "Send to, Desktop (create shortcut) and try the new icon.
