I have office 97 running on windows xp , the excel spreedsheet not responding
when we try to type apha character on the spreadshee, eg a,b or c...., the
spreadsheet not repsonding and hang but no problem if we type numeric eg 1,2
,,,,

it happened for the new or exsting spreadsheet.

so for all the worksheet, i have to format it to text or others except
general, otherwsie it will hang the spreadshee.
