hi i have encountered exactly the same error: - working fine on excel 2003 but no longer on excel 2007 - borders drawn by macro - sometimes error 1004 - cannot draw borders manually since I cannot open "format cells" dialog box please help! thanks! cheers, franco Hi, Why can't you open the Format cells dialog box, is this a protected or shared workbook?
