Since updating to Windows XP and Outlook XP (whilst
keeping office 97), my entire company have trouble when
trying to open any Excel file sent via email. It
basically puts up several errors sayig it can't find the
file (number depends on how many words are in the file
name). After clicking OK through all of these the file
will eventually open.

Hi,

This usually fixes trouble like that:

Start, Run,
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\Excel.exe" /Regserver

Quotes mandatory, Note you may have to change the path.
