Hi,
I recently got that blue screen of death and my computer
shut down.  I was able to restore my computer, my other
programs work but not Excel.... I try to open it and it
gives me an error:

PDFMaker.xla: file format is not valid

Can anyone help me?

THANKS!

Hi,

Do a find, files or folders and search for the file you
mentioned. Delete the file.

Then in Excel open Tools, add-ins and find anything
related to Acrobat reader. Try to (un)check it and OK when
Excel prompts to remove it from the list.

AFAIK pdfwrite.xla is installed by acrobat reader and
enables you to write pdf files from excel.

Regards,
