EXCEL 2007 SP2.   I did a test with two linked workbooks just referencing
cells, the UPDATE SOURCE capability in EDIT LINKS works fine.  However, if
you create a table ("FORMAT AS TABLE") and you reference that TABLE, then you
no longer have the ability to UPDATE SOURCE if you rename or move the linked
workbook. Its not greyed out, it just doesn't work.  Since I am doing
VLOOKUPS and MATCHES I need to reference tables.  Find and replace may work
in the formulas but the LINK itself will still be WRONG!  Any suggestions?
Is there a back door method to change the link? Thanks.

Hi,

I did not have this problems if I defined the tables first and then created
linked formulas to them.  See if that works for you.

Please ignore the last post, I was look at the screen to see if the link was
selectable and it appeared to be.  The problem came when I choose Change
Source and picked the new file, it let me do the command but did not make the
change.

Hi,

I have done some more experimentation and discovered -
1.  You can run Find and Replace to replace all the references, however,
they don't calculate.
2.  If you choose Edit Links and choose Update nothing happens.
3.  If you choose Open Source, the correct file will open and all the links
will update.

Definitely this area is buggy!
