Adding numbers in a single cell

I'm working on a work schedule. I would like to put two numbers tha
represent time  in a single cell and have them caculated.

Example:
A                 B               C             D              E      
F              G               H
1                 Mon          Tue          Wed    Thur    Fri            Sa
Sun
2
3  Robert    10-5    10-5    10-5    10-5    10-5    /    /
4  Adam    /    /    3-10    3-10    3-11    3-12    3-9:30
5  Samuel    8;30-4    8:30-4     8:30-4     8:30-4     8:30-4     /    /
