hello!

How do you remove a drop down box within a cell? I tried
Data/Validation/Clear All, but it did not remove the box.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Maybe it isn't a DV drop-down.

There are other forms of drop-downs from the Control Toolbox or the Forms
Toolbars.

Could be a list box, combobox or somesuch creature.

F5>Special>Objects>OK

Anything selected?

Right click on the box, if you can edit it, you can delete it or cut
it, if not then you mat have an activeX.
Bring up the control toolbar=>select the button with the speed quare on
it, this puts you in design mode, now when you put the mouse cursor
over the box it should turn into a little + , if that happens then you
can right click and delete(or cut)
