how can I fix a missing formula bar in Excel?

The whole formula bar is missing when I open Excel.  How can I make it
reappear?

go to Tools, Options and tick the box marked "Formulas" under Window

I believe it is:

Tools > Options > View tab

Under the "Show" area tick Formula bar

THanks, I found it under VIEW -- select formula (always more than one way...)

On Worksheet Menu..........View>Formula Bar.

No need to go through Tools>Options>View
