I have a Windows Excel program which calls a DLL. I'd like to add th
capability for Mac users to call shared libraries to do the same thing
MS says that you can do it, but offers no hints.

Any advice

Hi "jwmci",                           (posted to worksheet.functions)

Try a Google web search   excel mac dll shared library

If you don't find what you want try a Google Groups search:
    group:*excel*  mac dll shared library

If that fails post directly to an Excel  Mac group,  perhaps one of these:
 microsoft.public.excel.macintosh
 microsoft.public.mac.office.excel
