Help creating formula

Hello!
I am trying to create a formula to count a range of cells only i
another range of cells is greater than or less than a certain number.
ex.
count a1:a30 if the corresponding T cell is greater than 1 and les
than 10
(oh I forgot to mention that this will be pulling from anothe
workbook)

Check out the COUNTIF function.  :)
