I have set-up a inspection spread-sheet. I need to be able to insert funtions
without them being figured. ex. I insert +.005. The plus sign disappears.

Don't start with a plus.
or
preformat your range of cells as text
or
Start with your entry with an apostrophe   '+.005

Try formatting the cells as text before you type in your data.
