Hi there everyone,

This seems such a simple problem, but its driving me up the wall! For some
reason 'repeat last action' (Ctrl+y) doesn't work whilst I'm recording a
macro (trying to repeat paste special).  Macro security is set to medium, and
'repeat' works when not recording.

Please help, since I need to paste special 100 x to get this macro going!

Why do you need to paste 100 x?  You could just go in and edit the macro
to do what you want.

I don't know why, but I guess that it is disabled because the macr
recorder is trying to capture the tasks that you are actually doing
and the repeat action option is only has context relative to the las
keystroke

That is not the case, since it works on a colleague of mine's machine. It
must be some kind of setting or soemthing.

I tried it on my machine using XL 2003

CTRL + y worked and the recorder recorded the multiple CTRL + y's

I can't think of a setting that would prevent the CTRL + y on your machine.
