MS Office Forum / Excel / Worksheet Functions / October 2006meaning of : IF(Switch; Average(array A, array B); array A)
I do not understand the use of 'Switch' at the place of the logical test ... Maybe it refers to a named cell. For example =IF(A1,TRUE,FALSE) will return TRUE for any non-zero number in A1 So if A1 is named Switch, then =IF(Switch,TRUE,FALSE) will behave the same way Alternatively Switch could be a named formula but the logic is the same best wishes  SignatureBernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email >I do not understand the use of 'Switch' at the place of the logical test >... |
